Do I qualify for the Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass (ONE Pass)?
The ONE Pass is for people who would like to work and live in Singapore and…
- Earn a fixed monthly salary* of at least $30,000 Singapore Dollars (or its equivalent in foreign currency) within the last 1 year.
Or - Will earn a fixed monthly salary of at least $30,000 Singapore Dollars under their future employer based in Singapore.
Additionally, candidates must have been working for an established company** overseas for at least 1 year or will be working for an established company in Singapore.
Note that application approval and renewals are subject to the approval of the Ministry of Manpower – and many other factors may be taken into consideration when an application is assessed.
* A ‘fixed monthly salary’ is basic monthly salary + fixed monthly allowances.
** An ‘established company’ must have a market capitalisation or valuation of at least US$500 million or an annual revenue of at least US$200 million.
What is the difference between a ONE Pass and an Employment Pass (EP)?
The main difference is that the ONE Pass is personalised and so it provides greater employment flexibility than an EP.
Unlike EP holders, ONE Pass holders:
- May start, operate and work for multiple companies at any one time
- Do not need to reapply for a new pass if they change jobs
What is the duration of a ONE Pass?
The duration of the ONE Pass is:
- First-time candidates: 5 years
- Subsequent renewals: 5 years
May a spouse of a ONE Pass holder work?
Yes, but the spouse will be required to obtain a Letter of Consent.
